Location

Set below the Villa is the beautiful long sandy turtle beach of Kaminia. This beach is relatively unspoilt and rarely gets crowded with tourists even in high season. On the beach there is a cantina and two beach bars/restaurants selling cocktails, drinks, snacks and ice creams throughout the day. Here you can also hire sunbeds and umbrellas.

 

The beach itself is very gently shelving into the sea, making it perfect for children and adults and offers safe bathing. Kaminia Beach is the nesting site for the protected Loggerhead Turtles who come back every year to lay their eggs in the soft sand.

 

A comfortable walk from the villa, heading West along the coast will bring you to the resort of Katelios. Reknowned for its fresh fish, you will find many restaurants along the beach front boasting fresh fish caught that very morning often by the restaurant owner!

 

The beach is also gently shelving and sandy with sunbeds and umbrellas and motorboat hire. In the opposite direction and a short 5 minute drive from the villa, you will come to the town/beach resort of Skala, which has a large choice of good quality restaurants, café bars, gift shops and supermarkets together with a fairly laid back nightlife.

The Blue Flag awarded beach at Skala is long, mainly sandy and gently shelving. There are a couple of beach bars selling drinks, ice creams and snacks throughout the day. Sunbeds and Umbrella are available for rent and there is also a watersports centre on the beach.
